My job is to help you build a tomorrow that is better than today.
My approach to counseling is to create a safe and affirming environment where individuals, couples, and families can find new ways to navigate the world. There are enough voices in the world to disapprove of you. Counseling is a way to find a way to find hope without the negatives. Hope is built on workable plans, step by step success, and a reasonable expectation that we can create a pathway to a better future for you and your family. As an ordained minister, I am very comfortable with biblical and spirit-led avenues of finding hope. With a Master's degree from Purdue University in Marriage and Family Therapy, I am entirely comfortable with natural ways of finding hope that are built on valid, scientific research. I am happy to work with people whose views on God, church, and religion do not match my own. Your time in counseling is yours. My job is not to create duplicates of Darrell. My job is to empower you to build a more hopeful future.
